I always make most of my city discoveries while jogging and the same was with Enjoy Easy store. While I was living in West Beijing Road, I used to go running past Jingan Temple and since there is still a lot of a kid inside me, my attention got easily attracted to the interesting mix of decoration and low prices in the window-shop. Enjoy Easy is this kind of store where you will find all kinds of things for your home, and even more than you expect. My friend often scolds me for not taking full advantage of Tao Bao which is ‘one of the coolest things China gave us’ as she says. Well, that’s true, if I want to buy black wings for fallen angel costume or something this style, of course I will turn to Tao bao in the first place. But I just like to go to the actual store , look and touch the products, try them, or sometimes I just suddenly remind myself that I need something small, like a box for cosmetics or pens, instead of the whole fuss with Taobao – ordering, waiting, I just go to Enjoy Easy. And it is as cheap as stuff from Taobao. What I love about them in particular, are awesome storing ideas and solutions. When you live in Shanghai, the chance that you might be changing your place of abode at least once or twice is quite big. Or you moved here and you know you won’t stay forever, so you don’t want to buy too many things, but you still would like to arrange and organize your belongings in a nice, neat way. Then Enjoy Easy has those cheap, cool boxes that you can assemble and disassemble within a minute. They come in various shapes and sizes. As you can see in the pictures, I have different ones for underwear, socks. But my favorite ones are the shoe boxes. Now they have this new concept where you can arrange your own fun ‘shoe rack’. You can visit Enjoy Easy in Jingan, right next to the temple, in Huashan road, but you can also find them in shopping malls or subway passages. They also have their small departments in Carrefour, inside the shopping area. It is cheap, it is easy, it is good quality, that’s why I recommend without a moment of hesitation.
